B.U.R.N. Task Force Seizes Drugs and Cash During Search Warrant

Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports that on November 6, 2025, at approximately 9:04 a.m., the Butler County Undercover Regional Narcotics Task Force (B.U.R.N.), in conjunction with the Hamilton Police Department, executed a search warrant on Bryant Lane in the City of Hamilton.

The operation resulted in the confiscation of four (4) pounds of Methamphetamine, 1.6 grams of Fentanyl, approximately 70 pressed pills, and ten thousand dollars ($10,000) in cash.

Arrested and charged was thirty-eight (38) year-old Dominick Brown of Bryant Lane, Hamilton, charged with Possession of Methamphetamine (F2).

A warrant has been issued for forty (40) year-old Obryan Chapman of Hamilton for Possession of Drugs (F1), with additional charges pending.

The Butler County Sheriff’s Office remains fully dedicated to getting drugs off the streets and protecting families from the life-destroying poison that these traffickers bring into our communities. The B.U.R.N. Task Force relentlessly pursues drug dealers and works closely with local law enforcement partners to ensure these criminals are held accountable.

Sheriff Jones emphasized the importance of these efforts, stating:

“Every gram of this poison we take off the street is a life we’re potentially saving. My office will continue to hunt down drug dealers and put them exactly where they belong—in jail. We will not allow these criminals to destroy families in our Butler County community.”

The investigation remains ongoing and additional charges may be forthcoming.
